Keep It Holy!
Man, oh Man! Nowadays right is being called wrong and wrong is being justified (and being called right), even in the Church. Today, let us never lose sight of the fact that God is holy and desires holiness from those who serve Him. We are free in Christ, but we are not free to do and say what we want to do. Holiness is just not a catch phrase, but it is to be a standard of morality and living for all who are in Christ (regardless of denomination). Peter said it like this,
But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:15-16 (KJV)
Jesus is holy and we should reflect His holiness. We cannot use our humanity as an excuse not to live a life that is pleasing to Him. God makes such a demand because He will give us all the help and support we need in order to please Him. Self control and discipline can prove to be difficult, but not impossible. He did call us to Himself for us to fail. Realize on today, through faith and patience, you can walk in holiness. Again, keep it holy!
